Thymovar®

Long-Acting Varroa Control for Healthy Honey Bee Colonies

Thymovar is a thymol-based treatment designed to help honey bee colonies manage Varroa destructor infestations safely and effectively. Through the gradual release of thymol vapours within the hive, it provides long-lasting mite control while remaining well tolerated by worker bees, drones, brood, and queens.

Easy to apply and integrate into standard beekeeping routines, the wafer-based formulation delivers consistent thymol release over several weeks, helping control mites as they emerge from sealed brood cells. Suitable for nucleus colonies, single brood chambers, and double brood chambers, it offers beekeepers a dependable, residue-free option for seasonal Varroa management and colony health support.
