Apimil®

A Natural Alternative to Traditional Bee Smokers

Apimil is a natural, fragrance-based formulation that helps calm honey bee colonies by masking alarm pheromones during hive management activities. Free from smoke, fuel, and lingering odours, it provides a practical alternative to traditional smokers while allowing bees to continue their normal activities.

Easy to dilute and apply, it can be sprayed at the hive entrance, on frames, or directly onto bees to support calmer colonies, fewer stings, and smoother handling. It is particularly useful for hive inspections, queen introductions, colony combinations, calming defensive colonies, and situations where smoke is impractical, such as educational apiaries, urban beekeeping, and indoor demonstrations.
