Diamondback moth is one of the most destructive pests of brassica crops worldwide, attacking cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, canola and other cruciferous crops. Larvae feed on leaves, stems, flowers and pods, causing significant crop damage, reduced marketability and yield losses. Multiple generations can occur throughout the growing season, allowing populations to build rapidly, while widespread resistance to conventional insecticides has increased the need for effective biological control solutions and integrated pest management strategies.
