Loopex®

Biological Control of Cabbage Looper and Alfalfa Looper

Developed from a naturally occurring baculovirus, this biological insecticide provides targeted control of cabbage looper (Trichoplusia ni) and alfalfa looper (Autographa californica) in greenhouse-grown crops. Designed specifically for greenhouse production, Loopex supports Integrated Pest Management (IPM) programs while providing highly selective control of looper populations.  The virus infects larvae through ingestion, delivering highly selective control while supporting Integrated Pest Management (IPM) programs. Effective against both young and older larval stages, it provides long-term suppression of pest populations and helps manage insecticide-resistant populations. Safe for beneficial insects and free from export residue concerns, it offers growers a flexible and sustainable solution for looper management.
